The need to rinse

So every once in a while i just getting excited about a set of tunes I've got or a theme for a mix and all day I’m thinking of the tunes and the mixes, this is one of those occasions, recorded for the interest masses. After getting the new Quarantine Zenith CD and new masterplan CD one on innerground through, I didn't have a chance to play them much for about 3 days due to uni and work commitments, So one night after coming back from somewhere (i forgot where) as tired as i was i just thought "lets rinse the tunes", that went kind of OK and i was thinking 'right' post that up, but then the Mac crashed (yes that's right a Mac crashing, and I’ll tell you in ain't the first time) So i tried to right down some of the tunes i played, in an attempt to recapture the vibe of that little session later on. I then recorded the mix in the morning before heading out. The mix i bring to you now isn't the exact same tracklisting, as a little improvisation changed the order and relegated some tunes off the list. But I’m sure those tunes will make their way back at some point. Sunday Selection Volume 3: DNB's Rich Past

Nice to have you with me again as we step into the latest offerings from the beat cave, and this time I’ve been doing some research on the listening audience, I put two shows last fortnight, according to the stats on the podomatic servers, the drum and bass one seemed be twice as popular as the broken beat one, I don’t know if that’s peoples itunes messing up and not downloading the other because it’s doing that whole “get most recent episode” thing and missing one, (in that case, people take note, you're missing one show). But anyway. People are feeling the drum!!! So it’s time to jog the older headz memories, and school newer fans as to the history of the beautiful genre with some the top tracks (in my book) of the past gone early years. Thus the third Sunday selection and the second drum lesson was born. I know the Clarkie, Shifty, Taylor and many others will enjoy this. Making up time

So after a little halt to proceedings the show is back and we are hitting it hard, and I’m very happy with this mix, a nice selection of old and new. Again in the broken beat/nu jazz arena, with some house thrown in.
You know the funny thing is when I started mixing it was with drum and bass and during that time I was saying I would never own a house record, and now I own lots, and I love it, man how opinions change over time.
